‘Im Forster‘ park stands out due to its exclusive location, which affords outstanding views of the city, the lake and the Alps. The park’s size and its proximity to nature make it unique in the City of Zurich.
Since 2005, the ‘Im Forest’ villa has been a listed building and the park has been under protection.
In order to be able to maintain this historical heritage for future generations, the family that owns the villa and park are pushing for a high-quality architectural development within the boundaries of the park. The proposed new buildings are to be well integrated into the existing site. Three renowned architectural firms as well as a landscape architect have contributed their ideas and proposals.
